Veronica & Jacob Wedding
Veronica & Jacob have known each other since they were in kindergarten and remained friends all the way through high school when they finally started dating. And today, they finally said I Do at a beautiful, rustic spring wedding at Sugar Spring Ranch!
I grew up going to the same school and church as Veronica's family and have known them a long time, and I even reconnected with her later in life when I worked at the high school she attended. Believe it or not, Veronica was a student of mine in my short-lived attempt at being a photography teacher. Teaching wasn't my calling, but I must have done something right because when Veronica and Jacob got engaged, she reached out to me about doing her wedding photography, haha! It's been such a joy getting to know this fun, laid-back couple and be part of such an exciting time in their lives. And it was surreal to go back to the church I grew up attending to photograph their wedding. Crazy how you can come full circle in your life sometimes (and another reminder of just how "small town" St. Louis can feel sometimes).
STL's "third winter" tried to keep us down on their wedding day, with "spring" temperatures in the low 30s and a 11 degree windchill, but it ultimately failed. All the love surrounding Veronica & Jacob kept us warm and cozy all day long. They both have such strong, supportive families and friends who showed up strong and proud for this couple. Their reception was a rockin' party from start to finish.
Congratulations Veronica & Jacob! We wish you all the happiness in the world!
